School Hours

  • School Day: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Breakfast in the Classroom: 7:25 AM – 7:45 AM

  • Tardy Bell: 7:35 AM

  • Dismissal Begins: 3:00 PM and ends at 3:15 PM

Arrival Procedures

  • Earliest Drop-Off: 7:00 AM (students should not be left unattended before this time)

  • All students in grades Kinder through 5th grade enter through the main entrance on 17th Street.

  • PK and Special Education student (ECSE or SLL Class) enter through the side gate on Beverly Street.

  • Staff supervision begins at 7:00 AM

  • Teachers pick up students at 7:25 AM from the courtyard.

Dismissal Procedures

  • Car Riders: Grades Kinder through 2nd are picked up on 17th Street and 3rd thought 5th Grades at the back of the school on 18th Street.

  • Bus Riders: Escorted to buses by staff to Beverly Street (Esperanza Day Care, Boys and Girls Club, and Special Education students)

  • Walkers: Grades Kinder through 2nd are picked up on 17th Street and 3rd thought 5th Grades at the back of the school on 18th Street.

  • After-School Program: Begins at 3:00 PM and students head to the cafeteria at dismissal.
