Welcome to our Field Elementary School website. As your principal, I am honored to serve this incredible school community where our students are at the heart of everything we do. I look forward to partnering with you to ensure that all students feel empowered to reach their full potential.

Demetria Bandy-Brown is a passionate and experienced educator with over 23 years of service in public education. She has held multiple roles including classroom teacher, campus K-5 math specialist, district curriculum specialist with Houston ISD, and assistant principal.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from University of Houston University and her Master’s Degree in Educational  Administration from Sam Houston State.

Mrs. Bandy-Brown is committed to instructional excellence and believes that all students can achieve at high levels when supported by strong teaching and leadership. Her work focuses on ensuring equity, creating a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement.
